Alice in Wonderland may have worked the looking glass for Lewis Carroll, but in her latest guise, she only has eyes for the shop windows of Printemps department store in Paris dedicated to French chic and fashion.
The star of the Parisian department store’s spring display, this Alice is bedecked in Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora, Chloé, Ann Demeulemeester, Christopher Kane, Nicholas Kirkwood, Maison Martin Margiela, Bernhard Willhelm, and the late Alexander McQueen, and a rabbit's head. It’s all part of a collaboration with Disney, in anticipation of Tim Burton’s new film adaptation, which opens next month. “Curiouser and curiouser,” as our literary heroine would observe. When we look through the looking glass, we see the Eiffel Tower.
Alice au Printemps des Merveilles.
This one was from Karl Lagerfeld Christmas 2008 but I thought it went good with Alice!
